GLS University, Ahmedabad, is a state private university established in 2015. It was founded by Gujarat Law Society, one of largest educational institutes in Gujarat.

The university offers undergraduate postgraduate and doctoral courses. Major undergraduate programs include BBA, B.Com, BCA and BDes Postgraduate programs include MBA, M.Com, MSc and MCA. It also provides PG Diploma and PhD courses.

Currently over 25,000 students are enrolled. More than 500 faculty members teach at the university.

Facilities at GLS University include modern classrooms, seminar halls, a library, sports areas, a gym, hostels, a computer lab, a canteen and an auditorium. Classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and Direct Overhead Projectors.

Admissions for most UG and PG courses depend on past academic records. University may conduct entrance exams for some programs including an aptitude test for PhD admissions. It accepts national-level exam scores for MBA and PhD admissions including CMAT and UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/UGC JRF/GATE scores.

GLS University is recognized by the UGC and accredited by NAAC. It is ranked 162 among universities in India and 22 in Gujarat, according to IIRF Ranking 2024.

University has a collaboration with Leeds Beckett University to offer international bachelor's degrees in business management and computer science.
