Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is a public university located in Surat. It was established in 1965.

The university provides different programs. These range from undergraduate to postgraduate integrated and research levels. Fields of study include Science, Arts, Engineering, Management and Commerce. M.Sc, MBA, B.Ed, MCA, LLB and M.Com are some of the notable courses offered.

In 2019, the university ranked 7th in Gujarat according to Uni Rank. Webometrics placed it 219th in India and 285th in South Asia that same year.
