Fee Structure Of DDU, Kheda-Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad

Dharamsinh Desai University is one of the leading universities of Gujarat established in 1968. It started as an institution for engineering but now it offers a range of courses across different disciplines. It was granted deemed university status by the Government of Gujarat in 2000 and in 2005 it was granted full university status.

It offers various courses and programmes in engineering, dental science pharmacy, management and information science while its constituent colleges offer courses like B. Com, BBA ,BCA and M. Com.

The campus is spread across 42 acres and it comprises of DDU Main Unit, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dental and two campus units. The campus is well equipped with various sports facilities, health care, labs, hostels etc.

The university boasts of a healthy placement record with the engineering department claiming the most number of offers.

The university also provides scholarships to the less fortunate meritorious students. DDU Alumni Association (DDUAA) sponsors the merit-cum-means scholarships for deserving students.

Campus Facilities

The campus promises excellent infrastructure to its students. The campus is spread over a sprawling 42 acre. The class rooms are air conditioned with multimedia facilities. The University also includes cafeterias, mess, multi-purpose auditorium. High speed WiFi internet facility is available throughout the campus for all students.

The University has wide range of sports facility including large playgrounds for cricket, football, lawn tennis, basketball court as well as indoor play area & gym. It also has a well stocked automated library.

Hostel Facilities

The University has separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. The hostel facilities are great with options of AC and non AC rooms. The room sharing is usually triple or quadruple . The hostel also has a gym. The mess serves a well balanced diet to the residents. The Hostel also has a cafeteria and there are other eateries in the campus as well.
