1. Central Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC students:

• Applicable to: SC students admitted to SVNIT Surat through JEE Main or GATE.
• Expenses covered: Full tuition fee, living expenses, books and stationery and computer/laptop allowance.
• Eligibility: Annual family income should not exceed INR 6 lakhs.

1. Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities:

• Applicable to: Students with disabilities pursuing any degree course at SVNIT Surat.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance, books and stationery and escort/reader allowance.
• Eligibility: Annual family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs.

1. Dr A.P. Verma scholarship in mathematics:

• Applicable to: Best student in mathematics in each semester of B.Tech program at SVNIT Surat.
• Scholarship amount: INR 5000 per semester.

1. Mr Nishith Vijay Sampat merit-based scholarship for Mechanical Engineering toppers:

• Applicable to: Toppers of each semester of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering program at SVNIT Surat.
• Scholarship amount: INR 5000 per semester.

1. Shri Rajanikumar Majumadar scholarship for students with the highest CGPA at the end of the first year:

• Applicable to: Student with the highest CGPA at the end of the first year of B.Tech program at SVNIT Surat.
• Scholarship amount: INR 10000 per year.
• Eligibility: Annual family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs.

• Applicable to: Students domiciled in Gujarat and admitted to SVNIT Surat through JEE Main or GATE.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance, books and stationery and other expenses.
• Eligibility: Annual family income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.

• Applicable to: Students admitted to SVNIT Surat through JEE Main or GATE.
• Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance, books and stationery and other expenses.
• Eligibility: Annual family income should not exceed INR 6 lakhs.

The institute campus has 9 hostels which include 7 boys hostels, 1 girls hostel and 1 hostel guest house.

More Details about hostel facilities - 

• Double Seated B.Tech & M.Sc- The total fee is INR 37,300. This includes a refundable caution money of INR 2,500, seat rent of INR 12,000 per annum, electricity charges of INR 6,800, student activity fund of INR 1,000, hostel amenities fund of INR 7,500 and mess advance per semester of INR 19,500.
• Double Seated M.Tech & Ph.D- The total fee is INR 38,800. This includes a refundable caution money of INR 2,500, seat rent of INR 12,000 per annum, electricity charges of INR 6,800, student activity fund of INR 1,000, hostel amenities fund of INR 7,500 and mess advance per semester of INR 21,000.
• Double Seated Ph.D- The total fee is INR 31,150. This includes a refundable caution money of INR 2,500, seat rent of INR 12,000 per annum (if single occupancy), electricity charges of INR 3,400, student activity fund of INR 500, hostel amenities fund of INR 3,750 and mess advance per semester of INR 21,000.
• Ph.D & M.Tech (Family) One Semester- The total fee is INR 39,000. This includes a refundable caution money of INR 5,000, electricity charges of INR 13,500, student activity fund of INR 1,000 and mess advance per semester of INR 21,000.

All the hostels are equipped with basic facilities like furniture and Wi-Fi/LAN enabled internet. They also have mess facilities and recreational facilities like fully equipped sports facilities music rooms magazine rooms and television rooms. The institute operates buses connecting the main gate to different parts of the campus including the Hostel and Academic zones at frequent intervals.
