Fee Structure of Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar

1. Mukhyamantri Swavlamban Yojana (MYSY):

• Applicable to students who secured at least 80% in the 10+2 examination.
• Provides financial assistance to economically weaker students.
• Scholarship amount is up to 50% of the tuition fee or Rs. 50,000 per annum, whichever is less .

1. Hon. Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme (CMSS):

• Available to students who secured at least 90% in the 10+2 examination.
• Offers full tuition fee waiver for four years.

1. National Talent Scholarship (NTS):

• For students admitted to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course through AIPVT or NEET examination.
• Provides Rs. 2000 per month for four years.

1. SHODH Scholarship:

• For M.V.Sc. or Ph.D. students in KU.
• Offers Rs. 15,000 per month for M.V.Sc. and Rs. 25,000 per month for Ph.D..

1. INSPIRE Scholarship:

• For B.Tech (Dairy Technology) students in KU.
• Provides Rs. 80,000 per annum for four years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For merit-based scholarships (MYSY, CMSS, NTS and INSPIRE): Minimum CGPA of 6.5 in each semester, at least 75% attendance.
• For need-based scholarships (MYSY): Family income less than Rs. 6 lakhs.
• For research-based scholarships (SHODH): Valid score in ICAR-AICE or GADVASU entrance test. Must publish at least one research paper in a peer-reviewed journal.

The Kamdhenu University provides hostel facilities for its students.

• The hostel fee is included in the college fee.
• The infrastructure of the hostel is commendable.
• The hostel is located 0.5 km away from the college.
• Each room accommodates three students.
• Facilities such as bed, bedsheets and bathroom are available.
• The hostel also provides a mess and canteen.
• Additional expenses may range from Rs.4000 to Rs.7000.

Other facilities available in the hostel include-

• A common room with a television set.
• Sports ground.
• Gym.
• Library.

The university has separate hostels for boys and girls. As the university is residential, staying in the hostel is compulsory.
