St Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET) was established in 2004 by the Nagpur Pallottine Society. The college is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University,Nagpur, approved by Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra, and AICTE,Government of India. The College was ranked 65th by the DateQuest-NASSCOM ADC survey of best 200 T-Schools of 2005.Dr. V. V. Sohoni is the current Principal of the college.
Academic block A is a three storey construction plan which incorporates three departments. Ground floor includes classrooms and all the necessary labs for 1st year students. 1st floor is electrical department where as 2nd floor is mechanical department, having spacious classrooms, staffroom and well equipped laboratories. Academic block B, part of the vast alma mater comprising of the Engineering branches IT,CE &ETC. This block is a three storey construction. Starting from the ground floor which incorporates Principal's office , administrative office and an instructive digital library. The above floors include the academic sections having lavishing classrooms, staffroom, digital laboratories.

The campus is spread on 20 acres land on NH 7 connecting Mumbai and Kolkata just 18 km from the Railway station and eight km from the airport.
The College was ranked 65th by the DateQuest-NASSCOMADC survey of best 200 T-Schools of 2005. The College has topped the First Year Nagpur University results and many students have brought laurels to the Institution by securing top ranks in the University.
The biggest advantage of the location of the college is its proximity to Buti Bori, which is the the biggest industrial estate of Asia and the area for upcoming MIHAN project.
