Government College Of Engineering (GCOEA) Amravati

The Government College of Engineering, Amravati (GCOEA) is located in Amravati, India. This institute founded by the Government of Maharashtra in 1964. GCOEA is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.

The college offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs. It also provides PhD programs in different engineering disciplines. The total student population is approximately 1,700 supported by 75+ faculty members. GCOEA encompasses seven branches, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Computer and Information Technology Engineering.

The institute features many facilities like separate hostels for boys and girls, a gym, a library, laboratories and a cafeteria. For B.Tech admissions MHT CET and JEE Main scores are accepted. For M.Tech admissions GATE scores are required.

GCOEA is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and holds accreditations from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). In terms of rankings, GCOEA was positioned 45th in Outlook India's Top Engineering Colleges of 2012, 68th in Dataquest's Top Engineering Colleges in India of 2011 and 102nd out of 170 colleges in India in 2023 by IIRF.
