Fee Structure of National Institute Of Science And Technology, Berhampur (NIST) , Ganjam

1. Sibling Scholarship: Awarded to students who have a sibling studying or graduated from NIST. The scholarship covers 10% of the tuition fee for each sibling.
2. Merit Scholarship: Given to students who secure a rank within 1000 in OJEE or JEE Main. The scholarship amount varies from 25% to 100% of the tuition fee based on the rank.
3. Teaching Assistantship Scholarship: Available to students who assist faculty in teaching or research activities. It provides 10% of the tuition fee per semester.
4. Research Assistantship Scholarship: Awarded to students undertaking research projects under faculty guidance. It also covers 10% of the tuition fee per semester.
5. M.Tech Scholarship: For M.Tech students who qualify GATE or have a valid GATE score. Amounts to Rs. 11,000 per month for GATE-qualified candidates and Rs. 3000 per month for non-GATE candidates.
6. Ph.D. Scholarship: Given to Ph.D. scholars who clear the entrance test and interview conducted by NIST. Full-time scholars receive Rs. 15,000 per month, while part-time scholars receive Rs. 8000 per month.
