Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) is in Pune. It is a part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Institute began its operations in 2008. SIT specializes in technology education.

SIT offers different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The B.Tech programs include Civil, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics & Automation and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. M.Tech programs include Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Robotics & Automation and Embedded Systems. Flagship course is B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering.

SIT has students from all states of India and over 85 countries. Faculty is well-qualified with many holding PhD degrees. SIT operates autonomously as a private institute.

For admissions, SIT considers scores from SITEEE, JEE Main for B.Tech and GATE for MTech The institute holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has NAAC accreditation with an 'A' grade.

In rankings SIT was 38th in India University Rankings 2021 and 68th in Overall India Institute Rankings 2021. It ranks 1st among emerging private colleges in India.
