Fee Structure of Hojai College, Nagaon

1. National Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Meritorious students who have secured at least 80% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 10,000 per annum for undergraduate students and Rs. 20,000 per annum for postgraduate students.

1. Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Minorities.
• Expenses covered: Varies from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1200 per month depending on the course and category of the student.

1. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Minorities who have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and have an annual family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 25,000 per annum for technical and professional courses and Rs. 10,000 per annum for other courses.
• Eligibility: Based on both merit and need; not availing any other scholarship from any other source.

1. Inspire Scholarship Scheme:

• Applicable to: Students who have passed class XII with science subjects and are pursuing courses in natural and basic sciences.
• Expenses covered: Rs. 80,000 per annum for five years.

Additionally, Hojai College offers course-wise scholarships:

• B.Sc. (IT) Scholarship: Applicable to: Students pursuing B.Sc. (IT) course with at least 60% marks in class XII (mathematics as a subject). Expenses covered: Rs. 10,000 per annum for three years.
• M.Com. Scholarship: Applicable to: Students pursuing M.Com. course with at least 55% marks in B.Com. Expenses covered: Rs. 15,000 per annum for two years. Eligibility criteria include maintaining good academic performance, specific category requirements and not availing any other scholarship from other sources .
