Scholarships

National Merit Scholarship: Awarded by the Government of India to students who secure high marks in qualifying examinations. The scholarship amount varies based on the course and marks obtained.
National Loan Scholarship: Given by the Government of India to students needing financial assistance for higher studies. Repayment is required after completing studies, with the loan amount depending on the course and parents' income.
State Merit Scholarship: Provided by the Government of Assam to students with high marks in Higher Secondary examinations. The scholarship amount is Rs. 500 per month for three years.

S.T./S.C./O.B.C./MOBC Scholarship: Given by the Government of Assam to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and More Other Backward Classes students. Amounts range from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 2400 per year based on course and category.
Minority Scholarship: Provided by the Government of Assam to minority community students with low family income. Amounts are Rs. 1000 per year for day scholars and Rs. 1500 per year for hostellers.
Sunandaram Deka Scholarship: Awarded by Mangaldai College in memory of its founder president Sunandaram Deka. One student each from arts, science and commerce streams who secure the highest marks in final examinations receive Rs. 5000 per year.
