Gandhi Institute Of Technology And Management, Bhubaneswar (GITAM) Khordha

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management was established in 2008 under the Vidya Bikas Educational Trust. It is affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).

The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by the Government of Odisha.

The institute is situated in Gangapada, south to Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The institute has had 1100+ students till date and offers B.Tech and diploma courses in the field of technology.

• Basic Science and Humanities

Admission to the institute is granted on the basis of the JEE examination ranks. The candidate must also have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

The 16-acre campus offers facilities like hostel, library, canteen, transport, etc.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

There is separate off-campus accommodation for the boys and the girls in the hostel. The hostels are cheaply priced with the availability of hygienic food and comfortable stay.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The computer laboratory has an access to the internet.Training is given to the students regularly on different advanced technologies of information starting from the basics.The systems are equipped with desktop publishing, CD Rom and multimedia facilities to access valuable information.

The library has audio-visual facilities apart from various books, journals and other printed materials.

The extensive playground is suitable for the playing football, cricket, chess and carom.Swimming and gym can be availed at an affordable price.The students take part in various sports and activities throughout the year organised by GIMT. The students are taken on a compulsory educational excursion.
