The Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) is located in Bhubaneswar. It was established in 1987 through a collaboration between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society. Its motto is "Semper Excelsius," which means "Ever Higher".

XIM operates as a constituent college of Xavier University. It offers many programs, including MBA, EMBA, EPGDM and PhD in management. MBA in Business Management is institute's flagship program. The MBA program typically admits 350+ students.

The campus spans 20 acres and is located on Nandan Kanan Road in Bhubaneswar. It features a library, residential facilities and a computer center. XIM accepts scores from different entrance exams, including CAT, XAT, GMAT and conducts its own test called X-GMT. Institute has received NAAC accreditation with an 'A' grade and is also accredited by NBA and SAQS.
