Vignan Institute Of Technology And Management, Berhampur (VITAM) Ganjam

The Vignan Trust group established the Vignan Institute of Technology and Management in 2008 near the Sidha Temple, Berhampur, Odisha.

The AICTE approved college is affiliated to BijuPatnaik University of Technology (BPTU), Odisha. For its highest quality standards, it is also a life member of International Accreditation Organization (IAO), Houston, USA. VITAM has signed various student exchange programs with GoL MOU and GLEWFORD University.

The 85 acre campus consists of an academic building, workshop, separate boys & girls hostels, library, sports complex.

The admissions in the college are done only through JEE Main exam or OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination). The various departments for BTECH in the college are:

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply:

VITAM offers courses in B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA.

The application can be made through the offline application process. The aspiring students must visit the admission office branch at the institute and purchase the form there.

The students must paste a passport size photograph on the form, fill it and submit it with 2 photocopies of these documents:

• Marksheets of matriculation and intermediate
• Entrance exam rank card
• Migration certificate, Residence certificate, Character certificate, Transfer certificate
• Bachelor’s certificate/marksheet (For PG courses)
• A total of 4 passport sized photographs

Admission Procedure:

For the B.Tech course students must be eligible in the following ways: Passed matriculation exam, passed or appearing in intermediate exam, passed or appearing in final year Diploma exam, possess the rank card of engineering entrance test, have the Transfer, Character, Residence and Migration certificate.

Students can qualify any of these entrance exams for this stream: JEE Main or OJEE.

For the M.Tech course students must be appearing in the final exam of/or have cleared the B.Tech or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks. Rank card of entrance exam is required as well. Entrance exam to be qualified for this is GATE and followed by PI.

For the MBA course students must be appearing in the final exam or should have graduated in any discipline with at least 50% marks and should be a rank holder in one of these entrance exams: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA.

Vignan Institute of Technology and Management campus is built in a wide area of the district Berhampur, in the state Odisha. The institute houses well-designed workshops providing practical experience to each student and highly equipped laboratories for efficient learning and experimentation.

The classrooms are built with state of the art infrastructure and each classroom has a projector attached to it, to provide for interactive sessions. The library of this college has a hefty book bank and a wide variety of latest journals for aid in varied fields of research.

Other facilities include an auditorium, Student grievance cell Student Counseling Cell, Transportation, Cafeteria, shopping complex and a dedicated sports arena.
