Fee Structure Of SONA, Salem-Sona College Of Technology

Sona College of Technology is an autonomous institute, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It was established by Thiru. M.S. Chockalingam in 1997 as a ray of hope for students towards getting quality education in Technology. The college is affiliated by UGC and its programmes are NAAB accredited. The college holds grade ‘A’ in NAAC accreditation.

The college has ISO certification, MSME supported incubation centre, Apple lab, Outcome based teaching learning process, and academic discipline, 36 research end centres and industry linked training and internship opportunities.

It has 13 departments which provide courses in various disciplines including engineering, management, fashion, language etc.

The admission into UG courses is based on the marks scored in 10+2. TANCET/CET/GATE scores are accepted by the college for PG Admission (M.tech).

Hostel and Facilities

Sona College of Technology has an extensive campus with bright and airy classrooms.

The library consists of a huge collection of well-stacked books on various academic related subjects. Excellent sports and gymnasium facilities provided to the students have helped to achieve remarkable results in both the national and international levels.

Various centres such as Technology Business Incubation Centre and language learning centres are also available. There are 3 auditoriums and 2 seminar halls present in the college which helps to undertake various workshops and conferences.

Additionally, the students can voluntarily take part in various activities such as Canada India Institutional Co-operation Project, Sonaversity and CISCO Academy and Language Learning Centre.

There are separate hostels for Indian and NRI students. Food and shelter are provided to the needy students in the hostel. The rooms are well furnished with table,chair,cot and fan being provided. A committee helps in managing the hostel.
