Vaagdevi College Of Engineering Warangal

The Vaagdevi College of Engineering was founded in 1998. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The Programs offered by the college are B.Tech degree across the branches – CSE, EEE, ECE, Mechanical and Civil and the M.Tech program in Power Electronics, Power System Control & Automation, CSE, and Structural Engineering. Apart from the above mentioned courses, the institution also offers the MBA program.

Students require a minimum of pass marks in their 10th / 12th examination (For UG) and in their college level exams (for PG) to apply for the offered courses. Other than the minimum requirement, applicants should have written EAMCET for B.Tech, ICET for MBA and PGECET for M.Tech admissions.

It has a modern campus that spreads over 60 acres of land. The infrastructure contains up to date facilities which includes state-of-the-art laboratories, sports amenities, classrooms enabled with digital learning and a large auditorium.

Application and Admission Procedure

Vaagdevi College of Engineering is a private, autonomous engineering college located in Bollikunta, Warangal, Telangana. The college is recognised by All India Council of Technical Education and offers various courses at under graduate and post graduate level.

Undergraduate Courses

Admission into B.E courses is made either through EAMCET. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum 45% aggregate. The final admission however is made on the basis of the rank secured by the student in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).

Postgraduate Courses

Admission into post graduate courses will be made on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates in PGCET. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognised university.

For courses in architecture, the candidate must have secured a rank in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The basic eligibility for architecture courses is same as that for Bachelor of Technology.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The college spreads over a vast 60 acres of land with high quantity of classrooms, tutorial rooms and seminar halls.

Separate private hostels are available for male and female students. The hostels are off-campus but located within a feasible distance from the college. The hostels are well furnished with 24/7 electricity, water supply and security.

Healthy food is catered by the canteen.

Other facilities:

There is a well stocked library with more than 58000 volumes and other print and digital resources. Other facilities include 31 fully functional laboratories, and a spacious auditorium with provision of audio/visual aids, for students.

Tutorial rooms and seminar halls are present for convenient management of workshops, annual festivals and seminars, lectures and other developmental programmes.

Various health, ecology and societal awareness rallies like AIDS awareness, tree plantation, swachh bharat etc. are facilitated by college’s NCC and NSS groups.
