Jb Institute Of Engineering And Technology (JBIET) Hyderabad

The institute is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and has been granted autonomous status by UGC. It is AICTE approved and accredited by NBA and NAAC. In 2015, The Times of India had ranked it the 3^rd best engineering college in Telangana.

The institute offers B. Tech courses in the following disciplines- Civil engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Electronics and computer engineering, Information technology and Mechanical engineering. Admission is based on the EAMCET entrance examination.

M. Tech courses are offered in- Civil engineering, Structural engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering and Mechanical engineering.Full time MBA and MCA courses are also available both of which are affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad.

Institute facilities

Well furnished hostels for both boys and girls with amenities such as internet, medical help etcetera, An on campus branch of Syndicate Bank, An on campus post office branch, sports grounds, transport facilities, canteen, anti ragging cell, yoga center and a health center with a memorandum of understanding with Bhaskar General Hospital.

The institute has a dedicated training and placement cell and students have been placed with- Amazon, Health Fox, HCL, IBM, Apps Associates and Reliance Jio among others.

Hostel

The college has two separate hostels, which has total 162 rooms for male students and 96 rooms for female students. The inmates are provided facilities like Iron cot, Mineral Water, cupboard, table & chair, mattress, library with internet connection and more.

Campus facility

The campus facilities that the institute provides are yoga centre, JB open auditorium, health centre, post office, bank, research and development cell, Training, Development and Placement Cell and Entrepreneur Development Cell.

The institute offers several societies which gave students a chance to learn with fun and exhibit their talent. The societies are as following

• TechnoPIE is a technical planet organizes guest lectures, technical quiz and more.
• Society of Automobile Engineers
• CSI Student Chapter organizes quiz contests, seminars, workshops related to CSE and IT branch.
• Student activity centre include Environment Club, Music Club, Photography Club, Astronomy Club, Literary Club, and Amateur Radio Club, etc.

Various fests that are celebrated in the institute are AUTO TECH FEST, ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST etc.
