C.U.Shah Science College, Ahmedabad was established in 1965 near Thaltej Tekra by C.U.Ronak Foundation which also manages two other institutions: C.U.Shah Commerce College and C.U.Shah Higher Secondary School-Science stream. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and has a grant-in-aid status of Gujarat government. The teaching and learning methods used include lectures, seminars by the students and special lectures by distinguished speakers from various fields.
