The Culinary Academy of India (CAI) is located in Hyderabad. It was established in 1996. Academy focuses on culinary arts and is affiliated with Osmania University. CAI is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

CAI offers undergraduate postgraduate diploma and certificate courses. Main courses include a three-year Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Culinary Arts and a one-and-a-half-year Certificate Course in Food Production. The Bachelor's Degree is the flagship course.

Academy has seven training kitchens and a 36-cover training restaurant.

For course admission CAI accepts the All India Entrance Examination. Admission to bachelor's program requires a 10+2 certificate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Academy also has international training programs with cruise lines from UK, USA and Italy.

CAI has been ranked first by The Outlook in 2023. It has a strong placement record. Major recruiters include Westin Hotels, Grand Hyatt, ITC Welcomgroup and Oberoi. It has placed over 7,000 graduates in cruise food production globally.
