Scholarships

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: For students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis) who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh. The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000 per annum for day scholars and Rs. 20,000 per annum for hostellers.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students: For students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) who have passed the matriculation or higher secondary examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC. The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 230 to Rs. 1200 per month depending on the course and the type of accommodation.
Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class Students: For students belonging to the general category who have passed the matriculation or higher secondary examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh. The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 160 to Rs. 750 per month depending on the course and the type of accommodation.
State Level Inspire Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE): For students who have passed class XII with Science subjects and are pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at B.Sc., B.Sc.(Hons), M.Sc., or integrated M.Sc. level. The scholarship amount is Rs. 80,000 per annum for five years.
Single Girl Child Scholarship: For single girl children who have passed class XII with at least 60% marks and are pursuing any regular degree course at the undergraduate level. The scholarship amount is Rs. 36,200 per annum for three years.
