The college aims to provide state of the art infrastructure to its staff and students so as to achieve excellence. SCET is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and it’s courses are AICTE approved and accredited by NBA.

Graduate courses are offered in a number of disciplines such as- chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering (in 2 shifts), electrical engineering (in 2 shifts), information technology, electronics and communication engineering, instrumentation and control engineering and textile technology. Eligibility for these courses depends on relevant marks in relevant subjects as determined by AICTE from time to time and the students must also appear for the GUJCET examination in the corresponding academic year.

Post graduate courses are offered in- computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering and civil engineering ( town and country planning). Eligibility for the PG courses depends on the marks scored in the graduation qualifying examination and also the GATE scores.

College facilities

The college has an active placement cell and the college also organizes industrial visits and training workshops. Students have been recruited by companies such as- Thomson Reuters, Adani group, CMC Ltd, Einfochip, Asian Paints and Bhagawati Textiles.

The campus is located in the urban area of Gujarat with lush greenery around.

The library provides books ranging to more than 52000. They contain a rich collection of books,both textual as well as journals. E-Journals from various databases are also available here.

In-house operations are done with the help of SOUL software. The canteen provides hygienic as well as mouth watering food to the students at staffs at a subsidized rate.

The Gymkhana department provides both indoor and outdoor games helping students to participate all around the country. Departmental sports are also held. Other facilities such as seminar hall, photocopying and stationary store and open air theatre are also provided.
