Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management established in 2001 as the Royal College of Engineering at Medal in Telangana, is the first college in India to have been certified as a silver rated green building in the category of educational institutions, by the Leeds US Green Building Council. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

Placement Statistics

Around 102 students were placed in the year 2018 and 133 students during 2017 with a maximum package of Rs 7 LPA.

The year 2013 and 2014 had 116 and 132 students placed with the highest package being Rs 3.40 LPA. Majority of the students from the ECE, EEE and MECH department received the placements.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply

The college offers undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering. For admission to its various courses a candidate should have passed his earlier education with a minimum of 50% marks as aggregates.

Mode of Application

Online Method: candidates can download the application form from the college’s website, after filling relevant details like mobile number, E-mail ID, contact number etc and attaching relevant documents required, they can submit the form to college.

Offline Method: The candidates can also visit the college for collection and submission of the form.

Admission Procedure:

Admissions are granted on the basis of EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common entrance test) conducted by the Telangana government for admission to various colleges of the state. The registration fee for EAMCET exam is rupees 1600 for general, 800 for OBC and rupees 400 for SC/ST.

Admissions are granted to students as per the guidelines issued by the controller of EMACET exams.

Students can participate in EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Services) which the institute has adapted from Purdue University, USA.
