P.e.s. College Of Engineering Aurangabad

P.E.S. College of Engineering, Mandya is one of the pioneer Engineering Colleges in India. Presently it is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. Previously it is affiliated to the University of Mysore. It is an institution functioning under the grant-in-aid scheme of Government of Karnataka. The College was established in the year 1962 by People's Education Society currently known as People's Education Trust (R), with the help of philanthropic farmers of Mandya District. The sole objective of the college was to promote Technical Education among the students of Rural Areas. The Society was founded by late Sri K.V. Shankaregowda, former Education Minister of Government of Karnataka. He was a person with a missionary zeal and long cherished ambition to promote and disseminate knowledge, serving generally the cause of Education.

The People's Education Society, founded by Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Mumbai in 1945, is having a network of numerous educational of higher learning. The uniform appreciation and goodwill, earned by this august society, over a tumultuous period of fifty-seven years, with its numerous schools and colleges at Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Mahad, Nanded, Pandharpur, Aurangabad, Vashi, and Kolhapur in the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka, as centers as learning have opened up vistas of knowledge for the adventure of conquering the frontiers of intellect and wisdom. P.E.S College Of Engineering proffers degree courses such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc under Engineering stream of B.E. P.E.S College Of Engineering came into existence in the year 1994. Based in the city of Aurangabad , Maharashtra, the institute is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). For every course the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mould them into industry ready professionals. Mission of P.E.S College Of Engineering is 'To provide state-of-art technical infrastructure and motivate students to realise their own potential'.
