Padmasri Dr Bv Raju Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad (BVRIT) Medak

Ppadmasri Dr B.V. Raju Institute of Technology is an engineering college, which was founded in the year 1997 in Narsapur, in the state of Telangana. It is one of the educational institutes of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society.

BVRIT is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The institute has also been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. BVRIT has been constantly ranked in “Top 5” amongst the colleges in Hyderabad.

The campus is located 3 km from Narsapur and 50 km from Hyderabad and covers 110 acres.

Application and Admission Procedure

Students need to secure minimum marks of 50% with Physics and Math as compulsory subjects to enroll themselves in the college.

The college has restricted the admission of the students purely on the basis of merit list to enrich the quality of students. The interested students have to sit for the EAMCAT exam conducted by the Government.

The students can apply directly to the college if they have secured the required cut-off set up by the college. The college than put up a merit list of the selected candidates and they will all be called for further counseling.

Application Procedure

• Other than EAMCAT students can also take admission on the basis of JEE-MAINS score.
• Students need to have a valid GATE score to apply for the M.Tech programs.
• Lateral entry candidates need to appear for ECET.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The Institute provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Three separate hostels are currently available, two of which are meant for boys and one for girls. The college can presently accommodate about 500 boys and 200 girls, and new buildings are being built in order to increase these numbers.

All the hostels provide water heating facilities, chilled mineral water as well as recreational facilities.

Mess facilities are also available for boarding students, providing healthy and hygienic food, regularly monitored by the hostel management committee.

24-hour security is also provided across campus.

Facilities

The BVRIT campus is located in the town of Narsapur, about 75 mins away from Hyderabad by bus. It is spread out across a sprawling 110 acres of land, surrounded by lush green forests.

Facilities offered on campus include an ultramodern gym and outdoor sports facilities, fast-food outlets and a food court, boating facilities, e-classrooms, a wellness center, as well as banking facilities.
