Scholarships for Graduate Students

1. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities: Applicable to students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians) who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
2. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students: Available for students who have passed Class XII with at least 80% marks and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 8 lakh.
3. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana: Eligible for students who have passed Class XII with at least 80% marks (90% for open category) and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 6 lakh.

Scholarships for Postgraduate Students

1. Merit Scholarship: For students who have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination and are enrolled in any of the postgraduate courses offered by the department.
2. Need-based Scholarship: Available to students who have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and belong to economically weaker sections of society.
