Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute Of Engineering And Technology (SGGSIE&T) Nanded

Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIE&T) is an engineering college in Nanded, India. It was established in 1981 and is funded by the Government of Maharashtra.

Total area of campus is 18.62 hectares on land donated by the Sant Baba Harnam Singh Langer Sahib Gurudwara trust. SGGSIE&T is affiliated with Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology. It provides 10 specializations in the B.Tech program 10 in the M.Tech program and five in the PhD program. Undergraduate intake is 610 students while postgraduate intake is approximately 200 students.

The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade and by the NBA. According to NIRF, it ranks as the 89th best engineering college in India.

Admission requires scores from JEE Main, GATE, MHT CET for M.Tech and MHT-CET for undergraduate programs.

It has academic collaborations with foreign universities, including Cuny Crest and Oakland University in the USA and Universiti Teknologi Petronas in Malaysia.

Facilities include a Central Computing Facility, Innovation Lab and many specialized laboratories. The library and Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) are also available.

Placements - Companies like TCS, IBM and Infosys participate in recruitment. Highest placement package was 750,000 INR from TCS digital. Average package was 350,000 INR annually.
