Scholarships

SECE Merit Scholarships:

These scholarships are awarded to students who have secured high marks in their qualifying exams.
The amount and number of scholarships vary based on the course and cut-off marks.
For example:
- Students with a cut-off mark above 185 in class 12th or equivalent receive a 100% tuition fee waiver.
- Students with cut-off marks between 184.75 - 180 receive a 75% fee waiver.
- Students with cut-off marks between 179.75 - 170 receive a 50% fee waiver.
These scholarships are applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

SECE Sports Scholarships:

These scholarships are given to students who have excelled in sports at the district, state, or national level.
The amount and number of scholarships depend on the level of achievement and the course.
For example:
- Students who have represented India in international events receive a 100% tuition fee waiver.
- Students who have won medals in national events receive a 75% fee waiver.
- Students who have participated in state-level events receive a 50% fee waiver.

Government Scholarships:

SECE also offers government scholarships to students belonging to SC, ST, minority and economically weaker sections.
Some of these government scholarships include:
- SC & ST Welfare Scholarship
- Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
- Financial Support to the Students of NER for Higher Professional Courses (NEC Merit Scholarship).
