Indus College of Engineering (INDUS) is situated in a serene village known as INDUS Valley at Alandurai, a small hamlet off the Coimbatore - Siruvani road, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Possessing halcyon surrounding, the campus extents itself up to 18 acres of land. It is facilitated with excellent infrastructure consisting of well-equipped classrooms, library, and computer labs, a seminar hall and a college auditorium. The campus is a treat both for the eyes and the heart and you may call it beautiful as beauty's dream. An ideal setting for scholastic dedication, pleasant interaction and unbounded pragmatic exploration.

INDUS college of Engineering was perceived and contrived in the beginning of the year 2008 with a noble mission of extending the essence of professional education to the society at large. The college proudly embraces a vibrant team of 27 trustees who have totally committed themselves to instill quality education for the students. INDUS was started with four under graduate programs and today, we have six under graduate programs in engineering and one post graduate program in business administration.The Indus Educational Trust is a registered service organization established in the year 2007. Our challenge is to install among students a degree of discipline making them useful and capable citizens by 'engineering their dreams'.

Indus is the brainchild of a group of trustees from the Indus Educational Trust. Spearheaded by Mr.Prabhakaran, he has been in an educationaist in the field of engineering for over a decade and half. He also served as chairman and many educational trusts.

Indus had started functioning from 2008 to import education in the field of engineering. It is a self established, self financing instution, affiliated to anna University and approved by all india council for Technical Education (AICTE).
