The Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) is located in Pune. It was established in 1978 by Bharati Vidyapeeth. IMED operates as a private institute and is one of 29 constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth. The institute has an 'A+' grade accreditation from NAAC and holds 'Category - I' University status from UGC.

IMED offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs with its MBA program being its flagship course. Other programs include BBA, BCA and MCA. Institute conducts annual entrance exams for admissions. IMED accepts scores from B-UMAT, BVP B-CAT and BMAT exams.
