Kamala Institute of Technology & Science (KITS) is a private institute located in Huzurabad, Karimnagar. Vodithala Education Society established institute in 1997.

Campus spans 10.78 hectares and features many infrastructure facilities. These include academic buildings, tutorial rooms, drawing halls, a library, separate hostels for both genders, laboratories, an A/C seminar hall, an auditorium, an indoor games complex, a guest house, quarters for faculty and a residence for Principal.

KITS offers undergraduate programs in six engineering disciplines- electrical and electronics, electronics and communications, computer science, information technology, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. It also provides two M.Tech postgraduate programs in advanced manufacturing systems and digital systems & computer electronics. Annual intake for B.Tech programs totals 540 seats with over 500 students graduating each year.

Institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kukatpally. It holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognition from UGC.

KITS has a placement cell that facilitates student placement in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, DXC and Hexaware. More than half of students secure placements.

Admissions at KITS depend on entrance exams. TS EAMCET is for undergraduate programs while TS PGECET and GATE are for postgraduate programs. The distribution of seats includes Category-A (70%) Category-B (30%) and Lateral Entry (20%).
