Fee Structure of Guru Nanak Institute Of Pharmaceutical Science And Technology (GNIPST) , Kolkata

GNIPST offers a stipend of Rs. 1500 per month. The institute does not have its own scholarship scheme. It helps students to apply for national and state government scholarships and any other private scholarships.

1. Internal Scholarship:

• GNIPST provides a monthly stipend for postgraduate (PG) students with a minimum of 75% attendance.

1. External Scholarships:

• The institute offers various external scholarships based on merit and annual family income.
• Some of the external scholarships include:
  • Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Offered by the Government of West Bengal for UG or PG pharmacy students. Eligibility criteria include being a resident of West Bengal, securing at least 75% marks in the last qualifying examination and having an annual family income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
  • Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students: Offered by the Government of West Bengal for SC/ST/OBC students pursuing UG or PG pharmacy courses. Eligibility criteria include being a resident of West Bengal, securing at least 50% marks in the last qualifying examination and meeting specific income limits.
  • AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls: Offered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for girl students pursuing UG pharmacy courses. The scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000 per annum for four years. Eligibility criteria include admission to the first year of UG pharmacy through centralized admission, securing at least 60% marks in 10+2 examination and having an annual family income not exceeding Rs. 8 lakhs.
