Fee Structure of Contai Polytechnic, Purba Medinipur

1. PRE-MATRIC, POST MATRIC & MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP:

• These scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
• Applicable to students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis).
• Available for pre-matric (class 1 to 10), post-matric (class 11 to PhD) and merit-cum-means (technical and professional courses) levels.

1. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship:

• Offered by the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
• Available for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and M.Phil/PhD courses.
• Scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 per month depending on the course and level.

1. Jexpo Voclet Order 2021:

• Provided by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE).
• For students who have qualified the Jexpo or Voclet entrance examinations for admission to diploma courses in polytechnics.
• Scholarship covers the entire duration of the course with an amount of Rs. 1500 per month.

1. Student Transfer21:

• A scheme by WBSCTE for students who want to transfer from one polytechnic to another within West Bengal due to personal or academic reasons.
• Students need to submit an online application which gets approved within 15 days.
• Transfer fee: Rs. 5000.
