Contai Polytechnic is a government polytechnic institute in Contai in Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. It was established in 1990.

The primary aim is to provide technical education. It is among the largest polytechnic institutes in West Bengal. The campus comprises two academic buildings, a large workshop, two boys' hostels and one girls' hostel.

The institute offers diploma courses in 7 trades. These include Civil Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science & Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
