Seacom Skills University (SSU) Birbhum

Seacom Skills University is a state private university in Kendradangal, West Bengal. It was established in 2014. University covers a 50-acre campus.

Seacom Skills University offers different courses, including Engineering, Social Science, Law, Science, Language, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Agriculture, Commerce and Management.

The university has approximately 700 students and 20 faculty members.

Facilities include modern classrooms, laboratories, an auditorium, a cafeteria, hostel accommodations, medical services and a library. It also provides a shuttle service. 

University accepts scores from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and its own Seacom Skills University Common Entrance Test (SSU CET).

Seacom Skills University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is approved by AICTE Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI).

In 2023 the university ranked 140th by the India Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF). Its overall ranking was 744th in India and 11,427th globally.

The university maintains many international collaborations, including with Scotland's Colleges International, George Mason University and others.

Placements - Over 100 recruiters participate in campus drives. Key recruiters include ITC, HDFC, Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Aditya Birla Group and ICICI.
