The campus covers an area of 1700+ acres. It offers two undergraduate programs- B.Tech and B.Sc. with specializations in Agriculture and Horticulture. Postgraduate options include M.Tech M.Sc. and PhD in over 19 specializations.
BCKV comprises three faculties- Horticulture, Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering. The Horticulture faculty has 38 seats. Agriculture and Engineering faculties offer 150 and 30 seats respectively.

Admissions to B.Tech program are based on WBJEE score. The B.Sc program uses merit from the 10+2 examination. An additional 20 seats in BSc courses are available based on ICAR AIEEA.
