The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established in 1995 as a State Public University. The university provides education in veterinary sciences, animal sciences, dairy sciences and fishery sciences.

The university has three faculties- Veterinary & Animal Sciences Dairy Technology and Fishery Sciences. It offers different courses, including BVSc & AH, M.V.Sc., Ph.D., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc., B.F.Sc. and MFSc
