Malla Reddy College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2007, and is located in Secunderabad. The College is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTUH) and is approved by AICTE. The programs offered are also additionally accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The institution offers B.Tech degree for the courses CSE / EEE / ECE / IT, M.Tech program for CSE / Power Electronics / Wireless & Mobile Communication /Embedded Systems, in addition to the MBA program.

Admissions are based on the guidelines by the JNTUH. To get into the B.Tech program the candidate is required to submit EAMCET score. For M.Tech admissions GATE score is the gateway or the test conducted by JNTUH, and for MBA, ICET scores are considered.

The campus is buzzing with activities throughout the year and provides students with opportunities to exhibit their talents and to explore beyond academics through quizzes, events, workshops and industrial trainings.

Application and Admission Procedure

The college offers various courses at under graduate and post graduate level. All the B.Tech programs offered by the college are accredited by NBA.

Undergraduate Courses

Admission into B.E courses is made either through EAMCET. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum 50% aggregate. The final admission however is made on the basis of the rank secured by the student in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).

Postgraduate Courses

Admission into post graduate courses will be made on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates in GATE or the entrance test conducted by JNTU. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognised university.

Admission into post graduate course in management namely MBA will be made on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates in ICET, conducted by TS state council of higher education. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognised university.

30% of the seats will be allotted under Management Quota as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The MRCET has a well maintained campus with a segregated hostel for boys and girls in a calm surrounding. The campus has free wifi accessibility.

Food and clean water are available. A hostel committee is there to facilitate the medical needs, security, CCTV, housekeeping, full power backup and water heating facilities.

Other Facilities:

The college has a fully automated Library and Information centre with a seating capacity of 200.

Various indoor and outdoor sports events are organized by the college such as Badminton, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Weightlifting, Chess etc.

The students can also participate in various workshops such as technical expos, quizzes, cultural annual fests, blood donation camps, ecology sessions and social work held by the respective college committees.

There is an active counselling cell which provides guidance on academic and personal progression.

The college provides transportation facilities to their students residing in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
