Government Polytechnic, Jalgaon is a government institute. It was established in 1960 and is managed by the Government of Maharashtra.

The institute aims educate students to make them skilled technicians and pharmacists. It offers technical Diploma and Post Diploma programs in engineering, technology and pharmacy. The college started with civil engineering.

The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education and the Pharmacy Council of India. It adheres to the standards set by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. Campus spans 52 acres and underwent infrastructure upgrades via a World Bank Assisted Project from 1992 to 1997.

Institute is equipped with a CET Cell center containing 100 computers primarily used as a Computer center. Also a 100 kW solar plant has been installed by MEDA. Institute has received ISTE Narsee Monjee Award in 1994 for faculty development and an AICTE Grant for upgrading its computer and CNC laboratories. It also houses an Entrepreneurship Management & Development Center and a nodal center for IIRS ISRO.
