Fee Structure of Alagappa Chettiar College Of Engineering And Technology, Karaikudi, Sivaganga

ACCET Karaikudi offers multiple scholarships based on academic performance, community, gender and financial need. Some of the scholarships are - 

1. National Merit Scholarship: Awarded based on S.S.L.C examination performance for students whose parents' annual income does not exceed Rs. 50,000. Amount: Rs. 300/-p.m. for hostellers and Rs. 120/-p.m. for day scholars.
2. Pragati Scholarship: AICTE-sponsored scholarship for girl students pursuing undergraduate engineering courses. Amount: Rs. 30,000/- per annum or tuition fees (whichever is less) and Rs. 2000/- per month for incidentals.
3. Saksham Scholarship: AICTE-sponsored scholarship for differently-abled students pursuing undergraduate engineering courses (same benefits as Pragati Scholarship).
4. Swanat Scholarship: AICTE-sponsored scholarship for economically weaker section students pursuing undergraduate engineering courses. Amount: Rs. 25,000/- per annum or tuition fees (whichever is less).
5. BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship: State government-sponsored scholarship for backward class students with parents' annual income not exceeding Rs. 2 lakhs (amount varies by course and hostel status).
6. SC/ST Scholarship: State government-sponsored scholarship for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students with parents' annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.5 lakhs (amount varies by course and hostel status) .

Eligibility Criteria:

• Merit-based scholarships require a minimum percentage of marks in qualifying exams or entrance tests.
• Need-based scholarships have specific category/community criteria and income limits.
• All candidates must be admitted to a full-time UG engineering course at ACCET Karaikudi.
