Mewat Engineering College, Mewat is a minority institution established by Haryana Wakf Board. The institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. The college is affiliated to Maharishi Dayananad University, Rohtak. The objective of the college is to to provide highly skilled and technically trained manpower in emerging areas of technology which is globally competitive.
The vision of the institution is to provide world class professional education for developing human resources in the fields of engineering and technology incorporating the most current knowledge and skills in combination with a strong association to industries demonstrating the best in international technological trends.
Mewat Engineering College is the pioneer college in the field of Engineering in India. It is a full fledged college imparting full time programme B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.The College aims at providing modern education alongside Islamic education to the minority community. In addition to running various schools, vocational institutions, providing grants to number of schools and colleges; the Board has established Mewat Engineering College (Waqf).
