Fr. C Rodrigues Institute Of Technology Thane

The Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT) is located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It was established in 1994 and is unaided and private. The institute is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. 

FCRIT offers five undergraduate programs and two postgraduate programs in engineering. Undergraduate programs are in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Postgraduate programs are in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

FCRIT has approximately 100 regular faculty members with a faculty-to-student ratio of about 30-1. 

The institute has a central library containing over 33,000 volumes and 132 journals. Other facilities include a gymnasium, a medical center and many laboratories.

Admission to FCRIT relies on CET or JEE Mains exam scores. FCRIT has received accreditation from NBA for all its courses and is accredited by NAAC. Institute is recognized by AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education in Maharashtra.

In terms of rankings, FCRIT is ranked 201-250 by NIRF and 88 among India's Best colleges by India Today. Institute has hosted IEEE & IAS Technically Co-Sponsored Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE 2025). 

Placements - In the academic year 2020-21 38 to 70 companies visited for placements with a maximum CTC offered between 5.50 and 10.00 lakhs.
