Silver Oak College of Engineering Technology is a private engineering college which came into existence in 2009. It is popularly known as SOCET. It has 2 colleges namely, Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology and Aditya Silver Oak Institute of Technology (ASOIT). ASOIT is the new college shares the same campus.

The motto of this institute is “Education to Innovation”. This ISO certified college is approved by various organizations such as Gujrat Technological University, AICTE etc.

It offers total 15 courses through which it provides UG and PG degrees such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Information Technology etc.

This college is situated in Gota, Ahmedabad. It provides off-campus hostel facility for both boys and girls. Moreover, it also offers sports facilities, library, gym, Auditorium, cafeteria, lab, etc to all its students. The entire campus is WiFi enabled.

GUJCET/JEE Main is the gate pass for entering this institute.

Application and Admission Procedure

Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology also known as SOCET is a technical education institute situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It also includes a subsidiary institute named as Aditya Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology (ASOCET) which has Chemical as an additional department. The institute was established in 2009 and is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. All its courses have been approved by the AICTE.

Eligibility: The BE/B.Tech/B.SC degree obtained through the 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55%

Hostel and Facilities

SILVER OAK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY AHMEDABAD

The college has separate girls and boys hostels facilities. The hostels in the college provide mess, water and electricity facilities to its students. But it is recommended to opt for hostels outside the campus as the college hostels fails to fulfill a lot of demand of the students. The hostels are provided only one bed and the rooms are generally shared by three students.

The college provides internet service only to the staff members and to the students. There is a good library in the campus which has a lot of books. The college encourages sports activities and it has courts and grounds for the games. There is a conference hall and auditorium as well to encourage extracurricular activities among the students. There are CCTV cameras all over the campus. There is a canteen and RO water plant.
