The Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad is a private university established in 1999 affiliated under the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad.

The college offers 10 departments through which it provides courses in under graduate and post graduate courses. The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

The Vardhaman college of Engineering is spread across 3,81,000 sq. feet of land with labs, library, seminar halls, workshops, communication lab, faculty rooms, drawing halls, auditorium, computer lab, internet lab, class rooms, indoor games. The college has a central library with area of 30,000 sq. feet spread over 2 floors.

The students get admissions by qualifying the EAMCET exams conducted by the state board or else they can also get direct admissions.

Application and Admission Procedure

Admission Process

The admissions to the B.tech courses is done with the help of EAMCET which is a common entrance examination conducted by the Govt of Telangana state. The 70% of the seats are allotted to the students on the base of merit and the 30% based on merit quota.

The admission to the MBA courses is based on merit in ICET. The candidates must have qualified their matriculation with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects to qualify for the admission process.

How to apply

• The candidates need to visit the college to fill the application form in an offline mode. After the filling of the form and completing all the formalities, the candidates will have to visit the college campus for the counselling sessions. The counselling is done based on the score obtained by the students.
• In case, the students wish to apply online, then they must visit the official website of the institute to fill the application form.
• The personal details and the academic qualifications must be filled accurately before saving changes in the application form.
• The next step is to upload the scanned photograph, signature and the documents required as per the dimensions specified in the module.
• The candidates need to save the changes and move further to make the payment as per the modes specified in the application form. The last step will be to take out the printout of the application form.

Hostel and Facilities

The campus is located on the periphery of Hyderabad in a noise free zone. The campus has two huge auditoriums, one with the seating capacity of 600 people and the other with 2000 people. It also provides good transportation facility to students and staff with 32 buses which cover most parts of the city.

Hostel:

There are two hostels segregated on the basis of gender with an intake of 600 students in total. Its premises are well fortified with only one entry gate. It boasts of a good dining service with availability of purified drinking water. Cafeteria is present of the campus as well.

It has a full time CCTV, water, power, medical and ambulance facilities. Due to solar water heating system, hot water is easily available.

There are games room, TV rooms and park available for recreation.

Other facilities:

The college has a separate library building spreading over two floors with a collection of 62, 771 volumes. The library has collaborations with the British Council for a dynamic access to knowledge.

Apart from this there’s a computer centre, grievance redressal centre, research centre, placement centre, conference hall, health centre, sports court, gym and different labs. The whole campus is wifi enabled.

There are various professional clubs which the students can join. The campus also organizes two main technical and cultural fests called TECHNOLITES and ORTUS.
