CV Raman College of Engineering

C V Rama College of Engineering is a technology and management institution based in Orissa. It was established in 1997 by CV Raman Group of Institutions. It is accredited by NBA and is “A” rated Engineering college by NAAC.

The college offers excellent infrastructure to its students including well lit, airy class rooms, a central library with a full-fledged E-Resource centre equipped with necessary modem equipment in order to provide various digital mode Library services. It also has various labs, seminar halls, auditorium.

How to apply

Application forms will be available on the official website. Click the ‘Admission Tab’ and download the forms for the respective course. Fill in the personal details, academic details and the details related to Odisha JEE rank, registration numbers etc.

Remember the admission to this institute is done by centralized counseling hence no separate fee is taken for the form. The students have to take the allotment letter from centralized counseling portal and visit the institution for admission along with duly filled admission form and required documents.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure starts by taking the entrance examination, enrolling for centralized counseling and setting the preferences for institutions.

Once allowed, take out the allotment letter and visit the institution and pay the required fees for confirming the seat.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel:

The campus is well built and serene. It harbors 9 hostels with 420 rooms in total. 5 hostels are allocated to boys and 4 to girls.

The rooms are well furnished with 24hrs and seven days water and power supply. Security and medical care is a fulfilled as a prerequisite. The mess has a decent food and beverages supply. Canteens are also spread throughout the campus with food items available at affordable rates.

To avail hostel facilities students need to apply during the time of admission.

Other facilities:

There is a fully automated central library with an extensive collection of print and electronic resources, a sprawling sports ground, biology, zoology and engineering labs, a computer lab and a language lab which provides training in French, English and PD.

The college also organizes various sports and cultural events throughout the year. Social work is also done through literacy drives and blood donation camps.
