The college established in 1984, is affiliated to Anna University. It’s courses are AICTE approved and 4 of its B. Tech courses (computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electronics communication engineering), have been accredited by NBA for three years.

The college offers B. Tech courses in:-

Admission to the B. Tech courses is based on the requirements of the government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University.

Eligibility for the post graduate courses requires pass marks in the graduation qualifying examination and a minimum level of competence in the relevant course as prescribed by the authorities.

The college authorities regularly arrange seminars, guest lectures and various pre placement training sessions for the students. The college has hosted important events such as –Microsoft Dreamsprak Yatra, IEEE conference etc.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel accommodations are available for Men and Women students. The rooms are comfortable and are equipped with basic amenities. Both hostels have 500 rooms each and each room has one bed, study tables and book racks.

The students are also provided with the services like mess, electricity service, recreational room, reading room, wifi connection, water purifier, medical services, laundry service, water heater, gym, cafeteria, leisure facilities, guest rooms, power back, computer lab, security service, installed CCTV cameras and more.

The college has many activities clubs such as science club, Rotaract club, thulir club and H2O club. It also organizes many seminars, workshop and events like Happy Harmony, project demo, NSS and more.

Besides this, every year the college celebrates technical fest that is ABLAZE in which many competition related to technical field are held like case study, poster making, project making, power point presentations and more.
