Tamilnadu College Of Engineering (TNCE) Coimbatore

The Tamilnadu College of Engineering is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1984. This institute is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It holds the distinction of being the first self-financed engineering college in the state. The college is a private unaided institute. It is affiliated with Anna University.

The campus covers an area of 150 acres. College offers many engineering courses structured according to Anna University guidelines. Major specializations include Automobile Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, Structural Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Courses are approved by AICTE. National Board of Accreditation previously accredited multiple programs. These include B.E in Computer Science Engineering, B.E in Mechanical Engineering, B.E in Civil Engineering, B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering, M.E in Computer Science Engineering and M.E in Structural Engineering. College is also accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.

For undergraduate admissions the college accepts TNEA entrance exam scores. For postgraduate admissions it accepts TANCET scores. It also recognizes scores from national-level entrance exams, including CBSE 12th, TANCET MBA, Tamilnadu 12th, TANCET, TNEA and GATE.

College has collaborations with many industry leaders, including Wipro Technologies, Microsoft, Infosys and ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu. The placement details indicate that 100 students were placed from the batch of 2020. In 2019, 229 students secured placements.
