Sri Ramakrishna Institute Of Technology (SRIT) Coimbatore

Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) is an autonomous institute in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2002 by Sevaratna Dr. R. Venkatesalu. The SNR Sons Charitable Trust manages the institute. SRIT is a private institute and is affiliated with Anna University.

The campus is located at Pachapalayam, Perur Chettipalayam, Coimbatore. It covers an area of 49.99 acres and has a built-up space of 65,117 sq.m.

SRIT offers six undergraduate and five postgraduate programs in Engineering and Technology. Undergraduate programs include BE in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, along with B.Tech in Information Technology. The postgraduate programs include ME/M.Tech in different specializations.

The institute has 1,539 students and 109 faculty members.

Facilities at SRIT include smart classrooms, laboratories, a central library, transport services, hostels, a bank and high-speed Wi-Fi. It also has a language lab, a computer lab, sports facilities, a rural health center, a canteen and separate hostels for boys and girls.

Admissions are based on TANCET and TNEA entrance exams.

SRIT holds NAAC 'A' Grade accreditation and its programs are accredited by NBA. The institute is approved by AICTE and UGC.

In 2020 SRIT ranked 180 for B.Tech by The Week and 142 among engineering colleges by NIRF.

SRIT collaborates internationally with universities and institutes such as Ariel University in Israel and Universiti Malaysia, Perlis.
