Vidya Jyothi Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad (VJIT) Ranga Reddy

Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) is a private educational institute in Hyderabad. It was established in 1998 by the Vidya Jyothi Educational Society. VJIT is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It has approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the institute.

VJIT offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering and Technology. Available degrees include B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA. The B.Tech program provides many specializations, including Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences.

The campus features transport facilities, department-specific laboratories, a large library, conference halls, sports facilities, a cafeteria, health centers and banking services. 

Students gain admission based on entrance exam scores. B.Tech candidates need to present scores from TS EAMCET or JEE Main. M.Tech admissions require GATE or TS PGECET scores. For MBA candidates must take the TSICET.

In 2022, VJIT was ranked 200 among top engineering institutes in India by NIRF. It was ranked 159 for overall performance by India Today in 2023. In 2021 approximately 80% of eligible students secured placements through collaborations with leading corporations.
