The college is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and it’s courses are AICTE approved and accredited by NBA and graded A by NAAC. It is also affiliated to Jawahar Knowledge Center and has been graded a star college by it. It has been listed in the list of participating institutes in the NIRF 2018 list.
The college offers graduate courses in- civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, computer science engineering, Biotechnology, mechanical engineering and electronics and communication engineering. Entry to these courses is based on TS-EAMCET 2017 guidelines.
Post graduate courses are offered in- computer science engineering, structural engineering, CAD/ CAM, VLSI design and power electronics. Entry to the PG courses is based on- TS-PGECET 2017/ TS-ICET 2017 guidelines.
It also offers polytechnic courses in- civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science engineering.
College facilities :- The college provides well furnished air conditioned and non air conditioned hostels for both boys and girls with dining facilities. The college is well equipped with an excellent library.
Other facilities include- dispensary and first aid services, auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium own fleet of buses outdoor and indoor sports facilities and anti ragging and grievance cell.
The college has an Infosys Campus Connect Program and has placed students with –Ericsson, Just Dial, Amazon etc.
Hostel and Facilities
The campus of this college is located in the urban area of Hyderabad spread across an area of 25 acres of land and provides a serene and tranquil environment to the students.
Their library is Wi-Fi enabled and consists of a huge stack of books which consist of more than 69000 books along with 185 national and 191 international journals. The auditorium provides a 300 seating capacity.
The lush green playground of 5 acres is devoted to sports. There are fled lights available for outdoor games. Separate rooms have been allotted for indoor games.
A committee known as TKRCET encourages students to participate in sports through the conduct of various leagues and cricket matches. The cafeteria provides hygienic food and a reverse osmosis water purification plant helps in supplying purified water to the students.

To pursue MBA at TKRCET students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
