Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) is situated at Hyderabad and was founded in the year 2005. The institution has been accredited with an A grade by the NAAC organization and has also been credited by the NBA, New Delhi. The college has also received the Autonomous status from the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The College, which is affiliated to the JNTU, Hyderabad offers B.Tech degree across 5 branches of Engineering, which are-

• CSE
• Civil
• Mechanical
• EEE
• ECE

Interested candidates need to write the Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) and based on the score obtained admissions will be made for the selected students.

There are several activities conducted by the college for the students to indulge in beyond academics such as the entrepreneurship cell, cultural clubs, sport societies photography club and the NSS (National Service Scheme).

Application and Admission Procedure

The college offers 5 UG and 7 PG courses in the field of engineering and MBA. The minimum requirement for admission to the various courses is 50% in the qualifying degree/ exam (whichever is relevant).

Admission Procedure

Selection to the course is done through EAMCET/ICET/PGECT common entrance conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The seat distribution is such that 70% are allotted based on merit in the common entrance exam and 30 % under NRI/management Quota. Diploma holders are directly admitted to second year B.tech under lateral enter scheme.

On confirmation of admission original and three sets of photo state copies of following certificates are to be submitted.

Library: GCET has a huge library containing about 30000 books on technical backgrounds. Subscription on National and International Journals along with Periodicals, magazines can also be found.

Currently around 122 magazines and journals are subscribed in the library of GCET. Digital Library trend is getting popular and the college is at its best to cope up with it.

Laboratory: GCET labs are well equipped and latest equipments are installed to enable the students to be at par with all latest technologies.

Seminar Halls: There are 2 seminar halls, having 125 seat capacity along with audio-visual facilities.
